Journey to Parenthood helps couples and individuals dealing with infertility achieve their dreams of becoming parents by providing financial and emotional support along their journey, as well as to provide education and resources. When fertility clinics closed in the early months of Covid, many patients were abandoned “mid stream.” They were told they could not complete their treatment at that time. Eventually Baby Quest initiated a Resume Grant to help those financially who were shut out from continuing treatment and lost funds because of clinic shutdowns. What are the criteria for receiving IVF treatment on the NHS? According to NICE, women under 40 should be offered three rounds of NHS-funded IVF treatment if they've been trying unsuccessfully to start a family for two or more years, or if they've had 12 or more unsuccessful rounds of artificial insemination.

Applicants must have a single income under $75,000 or household income under $100,000. Applicants must also have a cancer diagnosis and show that prescribed treatment presents the risk of infertility as determined by an oncologist and reproductive endocrinologist. Fertile Action’s Parenthood After Cancer Treatment Grant provides financial support for female cancer survivors. It significantly reduces the cost of IVF, egg donation and surrogacy for cancer survivors through fertility specialists who have agreed to offer their services at a discount or donate their services to the grantee. All grant recipients will receive treatment at the Institute of Reproductive Health in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Baby Quest has continued to award grants, despite the impact of Covid. We are achieving new levels of philanthropy, as can be shown by the increase in grants and those awarded.

We look for those who are hard working, yet lack the ability to pursue treatment because of the high costs involved. Many applicants have devastated their savings on failed procedures. Others have never been able to schedule treatment beyond a consultation. All applications are thoroughly reviewed as we look at the total profile… educational, professional, financial, medical.

Grants for Adoption

Applicants must have completed a home study and be a married, Christian couple including one man and one woman. Must be a female patient requiring cancer treatments that may affect your fertility, with no prior chemotherapy. Must also be a self-pay patient with no insurance benefits for fertility drugs. These grants can go towards domestic, international, or foster care adoptions and will be given to your adoption agency or lawyer to cover expenses. Cash-paying patients should be eligible for the program, as are commercially insured patients. Patients insured by government programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, are not eligible. There may be some other restrictions, so check the program website.

Discounted Services for Active Duty Military & Veterans

Once applicants submit their paperwork, they will hear back about what they’ve qualified for. You’ll need to re-apply to this program each year, and note that you can’t combine this offer with any other rebate, coupon, trial, or any other money-saving opportunity (sorry!). Income-based discounts of 25%, 50%, or 75% on available self-pay prices of select EMD Serrono fertility medications. If you’re eligible active, veteran or retired US military, you’ll receive the 25% off at minimum and may receive up to 75% off.

We strive to offer a range of treatments and plans to meet the reproductive and financial needs of our patients, including single-and multi-cycle plans. Some patients are surprised that initial treatments, like intrauterine insemination, are not very expensive (under $1,000). If your best chance for pregnancy includes any form of ART , the treatment cycles can range anywhere from $4,000 – $25,000.

Per established guidelines, the IDP grant will subsidize a maximum of two complete IVF cycles per patient, with the second cycle subject to availability of funds. Incomplete cycles do not count against this lifetime maximum of two cycles. The selection committee selects couples based on cost-of-living, submitted paystubs, tax returns and a letter from their doctor recommending IVF as medically necessary. Shady Grove Patients will automatically be considered for a traditional Family Building Grant as well as the Savannah Grant. Fertility treatments can quickly rack up expenses for you and your family to be. Team Maggie For A Cure’s provides financial assistance up to $2,500 to young women and men for the purpose of preserving eggs and sperm after a cancer diagnosis. With this program, fertility doctors donate their services and facilities to couples in need of assistance. The program is designed to cover most of the basic IVF expenses.
